Our Aim

  • Provide high quality care and education for children below statutory school age.

  • Work in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop.

  • Add to the life and well-being of the local community.

  • Offer children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity.

We are absolutely over the moon to announce that we have been awarded The Smallest Things Prem Aware Award and are now officially a Prem Aware setting. You can find us and other settings who have achieved this award here https://www.thesmallestthings.org/prem-aware-school-report

This training has raised our awareness of the possible impact of prematurity on children's development and learning and has helped us to recognise and be aware of practical ways in which we can support these children.

The Smallest Things Premature Baby Charity highlights on their website that "with average of two or three children in every classroom being born early, we know that early years staff and teachers can play a crucial role in supporting and making a difference to the lives of children born prematurely". We are so pleased to now be part of this team of trained early years educators and to be able to have a positive impact on children's learning from right at the start of their educational journey.

Thank you to those of you who helped us to achieve this award, your contribution towards our work is very much appreciated.
